Modules

Plant & People

Plant & People runs on the plant’s own network and keeps working without an internet connection. It is a modular build. Separate modules and bundles will be available, and the modules pass information between them. Most features are optional and can be switched off if your plant does not need them. They are Plant & People Core, Engineering WorkPack, the Engineering Communications System, Total Productive Maintenance, Maintenance Store, the Workforce Competency System and Analytical Tools. Tell us which modules you would want, and which features to leave off.

Module

Core — Plant & People Core

The plant setup every other part of PaP uses: people, the site, shifts and backups.

  • Departments, Site, Notices, Users, Organisation and My privileges
  • Shifts and Teams, when the roster is on
  • Version archives, the Audit log, Backups and Import
  • Settings and Quick Access settings

Module

EWP — Engineering WorkPack

The information needed to do the job on a machine: the part, the method and the isolation.

  • Search, Common parts and Service packages. Common parts are the parts used most often on that machine: where each one is, a photo, and a link to the stock record. This is not the stores catalogue
  • SOPs and Project roadmaps: the written method, and the plan for a larger project
  • Site map, Drainage map, Fire alarms map and Isolation points
  • Digital manuals, Machine settings, Machine mods, Access and Tribal knowledge

Module

ECS — Engineering Communications System

Live work: what is open, who has it, and what still needs doing.

  • Open jobs, Our line, My allocated jobs and the Operator Knowledge Vault
  • Raise job, and look back at Completed jobs
  • Contractors, Attention, To-do lists, Projects and the LOTO log
  • Handover, Holiday, Sick, Training Schedule and Availability

Module

TPM — Total Productive Maintenance

Planned maintenance: what is due, what is late, and what has been signed off.

  • Planned cards: due today, not yet given to anyone, overdue, and missed this week
  • Templates for a machine or a machine type
  • Overdue, for work that has gone late
  • Tablet, to complete the card at the machine

Module

MS — Maintenance Store

Spare parts and consumables: where the box is, the quantity from its weight, and the parts a job needs before that job is issued.

  • Search: look up a part and where its box is. The quantity is worked out from the weight of the box. The box holds one part type only — parts are not counted by hand
  • Warnings: set a low level once for each part, then open this page to see what needs reordering. Stock levels are not checked one by one
  • The storeman sees which parts a job needs before the engineer is told that job is scheduled. Maintenance Store reads that from the job packs, SOPs and planned-maintenance routines, when those list the parts each job needs
  • Requests: ask for a part for a breakdown, or ask stores to replenish it
  • Mobile: book the box out and back in at the stores counter

Module

WCS — Workforce Competency System

Who can do the work, and who is still being trained.

  • People: each person and the skills they hold, with links to certificates so they open when needed
  • Suggestions and Onboarding for the first weeks of a new starter
  • Buddy / mentor, Development and Training
  • Probation, the Skill matrix and the Dashboard

Module

AT — Analytical Tools

Read the numbers already kept in the other modules, then open the job or the part they came from.

  • Metrics: open jobs, waiting parts, overdue planned work and low stock as ready numbers
  • Charts, filtered by the last 7, 30 or 90 days
  • Usage & adoption: which functions are used, and sign-ins by person
  • The Wall: a review board. Each card opens the module that owns the record

Ask for what you need

The public demo is a read-only version of this app for potential customers to explore. Every module is open. A licence does not lock them, and nothing can be changed, including passwords. Click through the modules, or request a function your plant needs. Also tell us which modules you would want, and which features to leave off.
